A few weeks later, Sho Madjozi made global headlines as she took home the award for Best New International Act at the 2019 BET Awards in Los Angeles. The rapper won the vote by a landslide with more votes than any other people's choice award of this year's ceremony!
Maya is clearly motivated by her winning streak as she is right back to work. Sho Majozi shared the behind the scenes look at her upcoming music video for her next single, Kona. Already a fan favourite, fans are already anticipating a dope visual to follow her previous music videos.
It seems like Sho Madjozi is planning to deliver fans exactly what they want. She shared that they will be shooting the video in her home village in Limpopo and the women in her village even helped make the Xibelani's by hand!
The video is not going to be boring either. Sho Madjozi also shared clips of her dancers going off for the cameras. This time, she rounded up women and girls from her hometown who have been practicing traditional dances since they were young. The skill is undeniable!
