Simba Mhere's killer found guilty

Simba's death has had a great effect on many media personalities and family and today the Mhere family gets justice after waiting two years.

24-year-old Preshalin Naidoo has been found guilty of culpable homicide for the accident that killed former Tob Billing presenter Simba Mhere and his friend in Janurary 2015.

According to reports found on the Sowetan Live Naidoo’s version of what had happened that morning was that he lost control of the car as he experienced ‘’unexpected mechanical defects’’

On Wednesday at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court, Magistrate David Mahango found his version of the story to be ‘farfetched and improbable’.

Rejecting the testimony of  accident reconstruction expert Stanley Bezuidenhout, Mahango found Mhere’s father Josheph’s version - who was present in the car and survived the crash - to be credible.
