With Somizi set to tie the knot to his boyfriend Mohale Motaung soon, the media personality took time to reflect on his past relationship.
Speaking to DJ Fresh during the Fresh breakfast show on Metro FM, Somizi spoke about his past relationship, explaining why he went through his ex’s phone before
“I wanted to check where he said he was, because he said he was at a friends place at this time, but it didn’t make sense…and the friends place is far…he sent me a text saying I’m home after 30 min,” he began.
Somizi went on to add that after finding that after finding his former partner’s story did not make sense, he made some investigating of his own, only to find that he was being cheated on.
“…When we met…I went through the phone and I found an ‘oh my gosh! I forgot to throw away the box, please throw it away’ [Text]…I’m a straat mate, I call the person, and it’s worse if it’s a person you know and they know that you’re in a relationship…”
Somizi has however moved on from his past and is happy with his fiance’, and says that he will be getting a double barrel surname.
“We spoke about it yesterday, it’s gonna be a double…”
