Thighs of all shapes and sizes are being shown today and we’re not complaining.
As we usher in Spring with drinks by the pool and an occasional braai even during the week. South Africans have decided to take the Spring day celebrations a step further by posting pictures of their thighs with the hashtag #ThighsForJeaux.
Whether your thighs are wobbly, trimmed and a bit wrinkled with cellulite it really doesn’t matter. Flaunt what your mama gave ya and don’t forget to tag and thank @Mijeaux when doing so.
Twitter user @Mijeaux started the #ThighsForJeaux movement last year and every 1st of September the trending hashtag has been used not only to simply show your thighs but to also celebrate people of all shapes and sizes.
In an interview with Marie Claire earlier on in the year, Mijeaux explained that she was inspired to start the hashtag after she realized how people usually get judged for showing their thighs, especially if their thighs are deemed imperfect.
Which we honestly think is such a breadth of fresh air considering all the negative hashtags that have been ruling these Twitter streets this week.
And of course some of our favourite Twelebrities and celebrities had to also join in on the fun.
YouTube sensation and MTV News-Ish presenter Moshe got in on the fun and showed us smooth, sexy thighs.

Actress and radio personality, Kat Mohoaduba celebrated her first day on Touch Central by showing us her #ThighsForJeaux tweet.

Even the little ones had to contribute to the thigh movement which was so cute.

The hashtag has brought out so much positivity and restored a lot of you ladies confidence, it’s absolutely such a beautiful thing to witness.
However, be warned some of the pictures are serious thirst traps but we love it anyway because at the end of the day it’s all about self love.
