Many of your faves looked great, but no one, it seems, is keen on really taking things to the next level. Although, of course, Bonang looked beautiful as usual, was a her scarlet number an improvement on the sleek look she put on for last year's event? We thought not, but you be the judge...
Here she is in the scarlet Orapeleng Modutle this year...

In case you can't remember what she wore last year. We're here to help...

BTW. Have you also noticed that Orapeleng seems to be her designer of choice lately? Whatever happened to Gert-Johan Coetzee being the Queen B's go-to? Not that GJC needs Bonang to keep him in the red carpet business. The designer dresses other stars, too, like Nomuzi Mabena who looked all the way glam in scarlet herself.

While we are on the subject of colour..
Looking at images on Instagram there's no way you would not look twice at Kelly Khumalo in her voluminous tangerine gown. That's until you realise it was actually a light pink colour. The tangerine illusion of perhaps lighting or some or other filter certainly made the dress - and Kelly by default - look phenomenal. Unfortunately, it just doesn't have the same appeal in pink.

The simple elegance with which Loot Love approaches style makes her an underrated fashion player, but it must be said that she often looks better than most. Stylist Boogy Maboi probably deserves a lot of credit in this regard. While we are not fond of Speedsta's look, especially next to Loot Love...

The Absolute Hip-Hop Metro FM co-hosts looked helluva phly together, styled by Boogy, still, for the after-party.

Does K Naomi not always just look rad?

Of course many will want to crown the likes of Bonang best dressed (because habit), but for real though: K Naomi and MTV Base South's Kim Jayde are serious contenders.

No, seriously. Here's another look at Kim Jayde, in Quiteria & George
