The Uses For Tissue Oil

Winter has this thing of bringing out our old nemesis - dry skin. Your body needs an extra barrier of moisture in these dry months without the sun's nourishment.

Tissue oil is a type of body oil intended for medicinal use. It is made of a formula from a combination of omega oils from a variety of plants, including flax, marula, and rose hips. Tissue oil is also used as a treatment for several common medical conditions, such as dry skin, acne, and scar tissue.

Here are a few uses for tissue oil.

Dry Skin

Like we mentioned, one of the main benefits of tissue oil is that it can be used as a supplement to traditional skin moisturizers. Moisturizers use a combination of chemical agents and natural ingredients to prevent and treat dry skin. Natural oils like Tissue oil keep skin moist and hydrated by reducing evaporation. By adding it to your usual skin moisturizer, it boosts both its richness and its effectiveness.

Acne

Another major benefit of tissue oil is that it can be used to treat acne and acne scarring! Tissue oil prevents the overproduction of sebum which is an oily substance in the skin that can cause acne and other skin conditions. Tissue oil can also be used to help heal scars caused by acne outbreaks.

Scar Tissue

Tissue oil is most commonly used to treat scar tissue and stretch marks. Tissue oil increases the elasticity of the skin. This elasticity allows the skin to stretch and relax without leaving any physical signs of the process. Tissue oil helps treat the feel and appearance of scar tissue by keeping the skin hydrated and soft.

Relaxation

Sometimes all you need is a long hot bath after a hectic day, right? Well, Tissue oil can help with that too! Add a few drops to your warm bath to assist your bubble bath. Tissue Oil will help give your body a full boost of moisture while you relax.
