In a recent interview on Real Talk With Anele, Thembisa shared intimate details about her life.
The SAFTA winning beauty got very emotional when she recounted some of the memories.
When asked her if there was anything she would have liked to say to their mother before she passed on a teary eyed Thembisa said, "there's a lot because I think for the longest time I would speak to dad about a lot of things, I used to think me & moms personality used to clash but it was just because I wouldn't allow her in, I wasn't open, I wish I had laughed more with her, I wish I would have gotten to know her better, I got to know a lot more about her after her passing."
She then went on to say that, " I speak to her everyday without fail, I say my prayers and I just hope that she is proud of me."
Thembisa spoke about how she could have been more present for their mom in her time of need, "we missed out on being weak with her & getting to know her."
Speaking about her divorce she said, "we met at varsity, we were in first year together & we were close friends in the beginning & that changed during the final years, we were changing so much, neither of us were keeping up with the change."
"Atandwa and I have have both moved on, we apologized to each other and we are good. There is a lot that I have done wrong, he knows it, I know it, we have sat down and spoken about it & I think he needed to hear it from me, I had to take a lot of responsibility for not giving him the chance to be a husband."
It seems as though the pair is in a good place, we really hope it sticks.
