This week, Letoya Makhene was in the hot seat on SABC 1’s exciting new celebrity quiz show Tropika Smooth Fan as she set out to find her smoothest fan.

Letoya's career started when she was cast in an advert at the tender age of nine, but that wasn't her first introduction to entertainment as she is also the daughter of legendary musician Blondie Makhene, but we bet you knew that part.
While she was still a teenager, Letoya gained fans whilst hosting various youth-orientated TV shows and by the time she was 14-years-old, she had formed the group S'kool Girlz with her sisters which achieved moderate success in the local music space.
Apart from her career as an actress, Letoya's most important role to date is her role as a mother to four of her beautiful kids who go by the name of Nubia, Tadiwa, Tamuda and Kopano.
The star was once one of Brenda Fassie's backup vocalists. She performed with the singer on her single 'Ngiyakusaba'.
Letoya is incredibly spiritual and attended an initiation school in KwaThema where she became a sangoma.
