The actress who also runs a YouTube channel that also celebrates art through contemporary dance and ‘teach me how to series’ shared how she funds things by herself but also works with the help of friends and family, having done this for herself she speaks on the struggles even after her Emmy nomination.

"The reality of the industry is that you'll find yourself chilling at home, even with an Emmy nomination. That's so funny because there was hype for two seconds, where people were like: 'we want you', but in reality it was: 'no, not really. We want you because we want to be relevant and we want Twitter to see that we support you." She said.

This journey needs its own book... Do you guys remember us auditioning, trying to see if we vibe/chemistry laphaya at Rapid Blue in the room with the green screen 🤣🤣🤣🤣 then the script reading with an ending that left us on some YOOOOOH 😱😱😱😱😱ya neh.
