Iconic television channel, E! Entertainment celebrated 15 years of sizzling television broadcasting in Johannesburg last night. The party was hosted by Kat Sinivasan. Naturally, such an event would be highly attended by Mzansi's A - list celebrities, including, Nomzamo Mbatha, Bonang Matheba and Minnie Dlamini.

On the topic of Minnie Dlamini, the media personality came out draped in a Gert Johan Coetzee pink dress, which unfortunately caused a frenzy on social media hence scores of social media commentators did not believe that Minnie managed to rock this look.

Upon close inspection, it is quite clear that Minnie was aiming to pull that old Hollywood style look, but it seems her followers suspect that her long time designer, Gert might have gotten it wrong this time around.

The fashion spectators always expect some level of effort and sophistication from Mrs Jones but it seems Minnie might be heading to a fashion jail cell this time around.

The Twitter streets were set ablaze last night, after photographs of SA's diamond hit the internet as many feared that she certainly did not sparkle.

This is the dress that has everyone calling out the fashion police:

Below are just some of the comments regarding Minnie's dress:

This is the thing about style and fashion trends, sometimes one gets it right and other times, they simply don't.

Another celebrity that knows all too well about being dragged for her red carpet outfits, is award winning songstress, Lady Zamar. The El Diego hitmaker is usually a butt of jokes after gracing certain events with her unique and peculiar style.

Who could ever forget the fashion crime that she was accused of on social media after making an performing on the Miss SA stage?. Lady Zamar wore a blue jumpsuit, that has since been dubbed as a ''Teletubby Jumpsuit'' and many people just did not know what to make of her choice of outfit on that night.

Judging by Minnie's Instagram post though, she comes across as having being proud of her dress, and we are certainly here for that kind of spirit.

Minnie's comments section was not only filled with followers who were ready to drag her for her choice of dress, hence some actually understood the look that she was going for.

Peep the comments below:

drnandipha:''Old Hollywood Glamour.πŸŒΈπŸŒΈπŸ’•πŸ’•.''

the_vimbai:''My timeline has just been blessed 😍.''

mbalinxumalo_:''This looks like something straight out of a movie 😍.''

Well it is true what they say, you can't please everyone.
