On Friday, Masechaba Ndlovu broke the internet when she revealed that she has it on good authority that Babes Wodumo was allegedly being abused by her boyfriend, Mampinstha. In an interview on Metro FM, the star spoke about the abuse that Babes Wodumo allegedly endured in her relationship.
While many have applauded Masechaba for breaking the silence and potentially saving Babes Wodumo's life, many felt that Masechaba's approach was opportunistic. Take a look at some of the views below.
I don't appreciate what Masechaba just did. Why must we know that her friend took Babes in? That's humiliation and putting her on the spot. Don't put someone under pressure to deal with something until they're ready to #thedriveonmetro #MetroFM— Mahlogonolo (@Jess_Mak) May 18, 2018
Masechaba Ndlovu was wrong to throw BABES WODUMO under the bus like that, she wasn't ready to open up , now the whole country knows about her private life.— QueenSamantha (@2ahtnamas) May 18, 2018
The elapsed time since Masechaba learned of Babes Wodumo’s alleged abuse vs all the time she waited until she could secure an interview & “help” her in front of a national audience?— ANDILE NDLOVU (@Vida15) May 18, 2018
That’s when Babes could have been killed, as she now wants to point out as if she cares. Fuck off
My only problem with Masechaba is the fact that she decided to ask her all that on air. She has no right to decide on behalf of Babes that it’s the best time to go public about this. Makes me want to check her motives.— Zukhanyé (@theezkay) May 18, 2018
Masechaba really just told everyone on air about the broken nose and leg WITHOUT Babes consent. Mo tried to balance the situation and talk with her calmly but she continued. Yes, she’s angry as anyone would be but this is sooooo reckless— 'Red' (@Red__Mos) May 18, 2018
