Music maestro RJ Benjamin is back on Mzansi Magic’s Clash of the Choirs SA as the music director. In season 2 RJ gears to put a spanner into the works with his newly assembled artistic team of musical experts which includes SA Idols season 9 finalists Simphiwe “Bunny” Majaja, Project Fame contestant, Tebogo Moloto and actress Relebogile Mabotja plus more.
From vocal coaching to guiding the singers as to which voice groups they are best suited in RJ and his team will be clearly hands on with the process of the reality show.
“We have a lot of surprises in this season as we are testing the limits of SA artists; Who will win over the audience? A rapper or a producer? All will depend on the entertainment value and the viewers have the final say. My role is to help the choirmasters realise their ideas, offer creative input and enhance the talent” said RJ Benjamin.
Our own pied-piper works his magic in the thirteen episode series that will see a new choir walking away with not only the prestigious title of best choir in mzansi but also a cool R750 000 grand prize.
