Last Summer saw G.H. Mumm announce the special appointment of Usain Bolt, as its newest CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer). After months of speculation regarding his next move after his victories in Rio, Mr. Bolt confirmed that he will take on one of the biggest challenges of his career as *CEO of the number one champagne house in France, Maison Mumm.
One of his main responsibilities as *CEO will include coming up with unique and daring ways to “bring celebrations to South African consumers through the energy, intensity and enticing freshness of Mumm.”
“I’m honored to take on the role of CEO for Maison Mumm and to show the world what it means to celebrate and entertain in daring ways,” said Mr. Bolt in a statement, before adding, “my number one mission will be to enhance Mumm’s legacy in celebrating victories in stunning ways, and I’m very excited to invite all my fans around the world to raise their glasses with me.”
South African fans of the superstar will get that chance to raise their glasses with him come 27th January, 2018 when he makes his way to SA for the Sun Met Celebrated with G.H. Mumm.
In the lead up to what is billed as Africa’s most prestigious horse-racing event, Bolt is encouraging fans of G.H. Mumm to celebrate their way to victory as opposed to just waiting for the finish line to pop the champagne as he has done throughout his career.
“We are extremely excited to be hosting our CEO Usain Bolt at Africa’s greatest race day and invite those daring enough to celebrate their next victories with us on the 27th of January 2018,” said Brand Manager, MMPJ – Pernod Ricard, Etienne Cassuto in a statement.
To stand a chance to win the opportunity to rub shoulders with the world’s greatest athlete, champagne lovers can grab a bottle of G.H. Mumm in major retailers and enter using the competition details on-pack to win a money-can’t-buy experience with Bolt at the Sun Met celebrated with G.H. Mumm.
