Miley Cyrus struggled to contain her emotions as she performed her new song Wrecking Ball at a music festival in Las Vegas on Saturday.
The singer was among a long list of A-list acts who got the crowd to their feet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Miley took the stage in a white lace-up leotard, grinding against her dancers as she belted her latest single We Can't Stop.
But according to X17 Online, the performance took a more serious turn when the 20-year-old, who recently split from fiancé Liam Hemsworth, began her break-up ballad Wrecking Ball.
The petite star got choked up while singing the final lines of the song, "Don't you ever say I just walked away, I will always want you," on stage in Las Vegas, according to the MailOnline website. According to fans, tears began to stream down her face.
Miley's ex-fiancé moved the last of his belongings out of her house in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, last week.
The two-day iHeartRadio Music Festival kicked off on Friday with performances from Robin Thicke, Miguel, J. Cole, Sir Elton John, Keith Urban, Chris Brown, Muse, Adam Lambert, Queen and Katy Perry, among others.
