This past weekend saw the first on-stage reunion of South African rappers Anatii and AKA following their highly publicized dispute over the opening verse and beat to the Cassper Nyovest diss track, Composure.
The pair took to the stage on Friday night at the first instalment of Anatii's Artiifact album launch tour, held at Gallagher Estate in Midrand.
AKA wasn't the only rapper who joined Anatii on stage. He was also joined by Chad da Don, JR and hip hop trio, Dream Team for a show that left us positively surprised (and glad that we bought the album).
When US R&B singer, Omarion, hit the stage, he had the ladies thirsting throughout his entire performance. I honestly can’t remember the last time I heard women screaming that loudly at a concert. Omarion performed a medley of the few hits he has had, including songs like ‘Touch’,’ Post to Be’ and the highly popular track , ‘Bump, Bump, Bump’ from his B2K days.
By the time the Sexy Chubby N***** took to the stage, the crowd was hyped and ready.
Anatii performed his a** off, literally. If he continues like that, he might just loose that "sexy chubby ni***" title. Needless to say, there wasn’t a dull moment as he kept switching it up – from taking to the stage alone and the occasional dance number from his gorgeous dancers to the featured acts throughout the night.
He then switched up the line up and took the show to Durban on Sunday night for one final performance at the Wavehouse alongside Omarion, DJ Tira, Ma Nala and Jnr Derocka.
