Nicknamed Mama Africa, it is a known fact that Mam’ Miriam Makeba made her mark on the international stage and was loved by many across the world.
Having traveled to many countries and performed on many stages throughout her fifty-five-year career, we were pleasantly surprised to have been informed that she actually featured on an episode of the Cosby Show back in the early 90’s.
Watch the late Mam’ Miriam as she teaches little Olivia Xhosa, and yes the little girl is Raven Symoné whom some of us will remember from the comedy, That’s So Raven show.
Video clips of her appearance on the show were recently shared on Twitter, check them out.
