To refer to East Coast Radio VJ and SABC 2 host, Carol Ofori (nee Ralefeta) as a 'busy bee' feels like an understatement. But, we have to commend her because she's always working - as a wife, mom, radio and TV host, we just wonder if she remembers what it feels like to have free time.
You can be forgiven for not knowing much about the TV and radio personality as she is rarely ever in the news for anything other than her work but there is more to Ofori than meets the eye.
Originally from the North West province, she moved to Johannesburg at the age of 5 and completed her schooling here. She then went to UJ (while it was still called RAU - Rand Afrikaans University) where she graduated with a BA in Journalism.
She has since worked for Kaya FM, 94.7 Highveld Stereo, Metro FM and 702. Radio has always been Ofori's first love and as such, she has never been able to let go despite everything else she does.
At one point, she even worked for ZAlebs.
Over the years, she has ventured into things such as brand management, motivational speaking, make-up artistry (which she has a qualification in) and voice over work - in addition to getting married to the love of her life and bringing a beautiful little boy named Sena into the world.
Happy Birthday my Sena! A whole 3 years old today 😍❤️ pic.twitter.com/fZtg0fmoYh— Carol Ofori (@CarolOfori) June 7, 2018
She currently hosts Raising Babies 101 on SABC 2 and the Coke Top 40 on East Coast Radio while finding time to record voice overs and MC events. Wow Carol!
