For years the masses have made fan of entertainer, Zuluboy, for his appearance. Often calling him dirty and making other insinuations about his personal hygiene.
These comments were made worse when Zuluboy (real name Mxolisi Brian Majozi) reportedly posted a photo next to controversial poet, Ntsiki Mazwai, on social media. Social media users then went into overdrive with comments and jokes about how the pair don't bath.
Speaking to Sowetan, Zuluboy said he had always planned to launch a range of male grooming products and the soap would just be the first in a line of many. He also revealed that his initial target market would be taxi drivers.
"There is this perception that I don't wash. Recently, I was told that I don't take a bath because I am saving water. That did not bother me," said the entertainer.
With regards to the product, which he reportedly wishes to launch in September, "the soap smells nice like other soaps. It can be used by both men and women. I have included some traditional herbs such as impepho and herbs that are used to wash away bad luck."
