[PIC]: AKA’s Great- Grandma Turns 107!

The Forbes and Reed family are probably one of the luckiest and blessed families to still have a member live up to an impressive 107 years.

The Fela In Versace rapper wished his great grandmother a happy birthday on Instagram and many of his followers chimed in with only positive birthday messages. AKA’s mother, Lynn Forbes also posted a heartfelt tribute across her social media pages.

A few life lessons that Lynn picked up from her grandmother, is to simply live your life the best way you know how, take good care of yourself and just be happy.

This is one of the happy moments for the Forbes and Reed family, since the passing of one of their own, Mr Derrick Reed in January 2020.

Whilst this cloud of death hovered over the family, Derrick, who passed away at age 78 was largely hailed for his impressive influence on the family. AKA appreciated how he impacted his love for reading,  as he was quite into literature. Whilst Lynn, expressed how she’ll terribly miss that strong father and daughter bond that they shared.
