Yes, your favourite rapper had to enlist the services of Yanga’s songwriting skills – just so his song could have THAT THING!
Not only has Yanga created hit joints for himself as a rapper, he has also managed share his songwriting magic with other artists’.
The Utatakho rapper, has written hooks for some of our favourite rappers, namely, AKA and Kwesta.
In a recent interview, AKA shone the spotlight on Yanga’s songwriting abilities. He mentioned that, Yanga wrote the memorable “Akabambeki akana hayi lo… Ubambelela on the stryofoam” hook on Anatii and AKA’s hit song, 10 Fingers.
Do y’all remember Kwesta’s hit song, Ngiyaz’ Fela Ngawe? Yes, it is believed that, Yanga once again worked his magic on the chorus.
AKA and Yanga’s inspiring pairing is what true Brotherhoods are made of. In a cryptic and sincere appreciation post on Twitter, the 30 year old wrote that, one day he’ll tell the touching story of what AKA has done for him since day one!
