After celebrating his 32nd birthday in fine fashion, AKA’s mood has been dampened by the passing of his maternal grandfather, Mr Derrick Reed.
The award-winning rapper shared the sad news on his social media pages, and his followers forwarded their warmest and sincere condolences to him and the rest of the family.
On his Instagram post, AKA described his grandfather as a thinker of note. He went on to share a sweet childhood memory, whereby Mr Reed would ensure that the young AKA, always read for him.
Great parents are increasingly rare nowadays. Therefore AKA’s daughter, Kairo Forbes is lucky to have had the opportunity of sharing profound and unforgettable moments with her great grandfather.
