Good Hope FM and Expresso presenter Carissa Cupido and her husband, Muma Khumalo, are celebrating their first wedding anniversary as they prepare to become parents.
A milestone anniversary

The couple marked 12 months of marriage with a shared Instagram post featuring photographs from their wedding. Alongside the images, they reflected on the love and growth they have experienced together.

Carissa wrote that the past 365 days had been filled with loving and discovering one another, wishing Muma a happy first anniversary. She also prayed that God would continue directing their journey “from victory to victory” and celebrated their transition from husband and wife to mother and father. Carissa added that she was excited to see the next stage of their lives unfold with Muma beside her.
Baby K is on the way
The couple are expecting their first child and have shared their excitement about welcoming their baby.
They revealed that they had spent several months privately enjoying the special period, keeping the pregnancy news between themselves while adjusting to the idea of becoming parents. Now, they said, they are happy to bring others into the experience as they get ready for Baby K’s arrival.
Carissa and Muma said their unborn child is already surrounded by love and represents their faith, dedication and lasting bond. They explained that they had prayed and hoped for this moment before placing their trust in God’s timing, which they believe has brought them a blessing beyond anything they imagined.
They added that Baby K is already treasured deeply and said they cannot wait to meet their child, hold them and begin family life together. Their hearts, home and lives, they said, are prepared for the new arrival.
