Kwaito legend, Doc Shebeleza is the latest celebrity to fall victim to false death rumours, but thankfully he's okay.
It is disheartening to learn that there are people who find amusement in curating celebrity death rumours. This week it was Kwaito star Doc Shebeleza who was rumoured to have passed away.
Word on the street was that Doc Shebeleza had died of unknown causes and this information caused absolute panic from his fans, industry mates and the general public alike.
It isn't known how this vicious rumour came about, but surprisingly Doc Shebeleza was not an inch bothered by it.
With the hopes of getting to the bottom of this unsettling rumour, the Daily Sun team swiftly headed to Doc's home in Fairlands, where he resides with his family.
The team found the legendary musician alive and healthy - whilst sharing a Sunday meal with his family.
When asked about how he got wind of this chilling information, Doc said:
"A friend called my manager wishing us a happy new year. Later, Mdu Masilela called my friend asking about my whereabouts and told him about the news that I had died."
And his response to Mdu's query was: "I said I'd not been admitted to any hospital anywhere. I hadn't been in an accident."
Through an exclusive interview with Daily Sun - best believe that our much loved Kwaito icon is nowhere near dying.
"It's only God who can decide when I'll die. "
