Mzansi is notorious for seeking laughter during a trying time. Some get annoyed at the fact that we turn everything into a joke and not consider the severity of the situation.

Shortly after the president's speech announcing the much needed 21 day lockdown, DJ Cleo took to Twitter to call on all the doctors that might be able to assist in this pandemic.

His list featured all the doctors in the entertainment industry, and yes looking at the entertainers mentioned, none of them are real doctors.

Except for Dr Tumi of course!

He responded to the tweet in good humour and did not take Cleo's tweet to heart.

His response served as clarity that he is actually a real general practitioner and felt as though he was placed on the wrong list.

The gospel star studied medicine at the Medical University of Southern Africa (Mendusa) for six years. Dr Tumi started his own medical practice after completing his studies.
