It has been almost 2 years since the tragic passing of the late larger-than-life TV presenter and producer, Akhumzi Jezile. Akhumzi passed on in 2018, in a horrific car accident whilst travelling to his home in the Eastern Cape with his friends, but yesterday a picture of his look-alike went viral on Twitter and had Mzansi on meltdown and convinced that he has resurrected from death.
The picture was taken during a live crossing on eNCA. A man who really bears a striking resemblance to that of Akhumzi had many convinced that their eyes are playing tricks on them.
The structure of his body and face had many thinking it was Akhumzi.
Akhumzi was a ball of energy with his contagious smile. He might be gone but he leaves behind a string of fond memories. Some tweeps also shared how his death was a major blow to the television fraternity and remembered him.
This April will mark 2 years since his passing and we still haven’t recovered from his passing as a nation.
