Anele Mdoda Attends Renaissance World Tour

Veteran broadcaster and executive producer of The Masked Singers SA, Anele Mdoda has not made her love for global superstar Beyonce Knowles-Carter a secret. A fact which has landed her in trouble when it comes to how fans of Kelly Rowland might feel about her.

All this started three years ago, when it was reported:

Ever since Anele was properly dragged for saying Kelly Rowland is only pretty with make-up on, in a now-deleted Tweet. Given this fact, she trends every time Kelly slays.

We are surprised she survived that social media storm, nonetheless, she learned her lesson. Mzansi forgave her but clearly, it will never be forgotten.

In the years since, Anele has not been forgiven as the matter continues to haunt her. Not that it matters to her, as it was shared:

Anele recently sat down with Mac G on his #PodcastAndChillWithMacG and she addressed the big elephant in the room. The burning question has always been, “Does Anele hate Kelly?

“I don’t hate Kelly Rowland, I don’t hate Kelly at all. I just don’t think she’s prettier than Beyoncé,” Anele responded.

Anele went on to reveal why Kelly often throws subtle clap backs at her. “People want something from me, ’cause there are many people you think are not prettier than the other one. For years, Michelle was called the ugly one in Destiny’s Child and no one batted an eyelid.”

As such, Anele continued to prove just how much of a fan she was as she marked the second time that she has gone to see her favourite performing artist.

With production on The Masked Singer SA concluded, Anele initially shipped off to Dubai with her girlfriends, ditching her usual all-boys squad.

Following their short stint in the country, it seems that Anele proved that her money is long as the Anele and the Breakfast Club host then moved to the second-holiday destination in London. However, the trip was intended to watch Queen Bey on the second day of her five-day London tour stop.
