Clementine Mosimane Leaves The Estate

By now it is clear as daylight that there is drama at The Estate headquarters. This comes after veteran actress Clementine Mosimane, who plays Mmatshepo Mokobane, has left the show.

S3 and Clive Morris Productions has released a statement announcing the actresses’ departure from the show including Sparky Xulu. The statement said “the characters will make re-occurring appearances as cameo in future.”

“We can confirm that the characters of Siya played by Sparky Xulu and Mmatshepo Mokobane played by Clementine Mosimane will be exiting The Estate as principal leads this week. Sparky Xulu’s last day is tomorrow, 3rd August and Clementine will exit on Friday 5 August. However the characters will make re-occurring appearances as cameo in future. We thank them for  their contribution to the story and dedication to the characters. We wish them all the best on his upcoming projects,” read statement.

Tweeps have reacted to Clementine’s shocking exit and they are wondering why many actors are leaving the show.

TshepisoMoloi10 “The great migration  anyway let’s see how things go. This new storyline better carry it’s own cos we’ve been glued cos of these actors and actresses.”

Announcing his departure from the show, Sparky wrote “As I approach my final week on THE ESTATE, I just want to say thank you to everyone who watched and enjoyed the work I put in for this character and show. I really enjoyed telling his story. Now I have to put him to bed. SIYABONGA PHAKATHWAYO,” he captioned the post.

Recently, the Estate has been losing character at a rapid rate. Dineo Moeketsi Langa who plays Mmakoena Molefe is leaving the show. According to S3 and Clive Morris Productions, Langa will be off air until late September.

“After this, she will exit the show for the remainder of the season. Dineo Langa is leaving the show to pursue other on-screen interests. While it will be sad to see her leave our Estate family, we wish her all the best with her upcoming projects.”

The channel and production company has thanked Langa for her amazing contribution to the 3rd season of the show. “We would like to thank Dineo for the incredible work she did on the first 3 seasons to bring Mmakoena into the hearts and homes of S3 Millennial viewers.”
