The Estate season 3 boasts new faces including Dumisani Mbebe, Lerato Mvelase, Samke Makhoba, Siya Xaba, Anga Makhubalo aka Naak Muusiq. At the launch of the new season, executive producer Khayelihle Dom Gumede promised that the storyline would continue to focus on current South African issues.

“Season three and four will be around the crisis of the government and governance. This season brings in the voice of many people who are above the bread line but still not thriving in the new South Africa. We know that we have an unemployment crisis in the country, of which is mostly the youth. We know that young people in South Africa are locked out of opportunities so telling those stories is incredibly important for us,” he said before sharing how some of the characters would be developing in this season.

“We have a really great spin on some of the characters that have been existing in this world. We’ll be seeing new love this season, love in places you don’t expect. There’s also heartbreak this season. There are some couples that we love who are not going to be together,” he shared.
