His lengthy and fruitful career was also highlighted by a collaboration with the rapper who approached him back in 2015 to work on a song by CalVin. The two then did a stellar job with remixing Cal Vin’s song Zikhupan’.
This gave CalVin’s career the much deserved boost as he won an award for Song Of The Year at the Zimbabwe Hip Hop Awards in 2015. He then became a household name both in his country and the whole of Southern Africa.
Messages of condolences poured in from across the border with DJ Fresh and Cassper Nyovest sharing a few words for the brother.
In support of the life he lived as well as the 35-year-old’s family, supporters have called on people to stream CalVin’s music. This would be the very least that can be done to give back to his family.
