Sjoe! A lot happened at the recent South African Music Awards (SAMAs). The event, which took place on Saturday, in Sun City, had many high and low moments. One highlight was definitely seeing Bonang Matheba showing love to Tumi Morake and Somizi, who hosted the show.
Another very important moment has to be when Denise Zimba decided to take to Twitter to get a few things off her chest. The TV personality was not too impressed with the event. She even went as far as saying that award shows get “shittier” by the day.
These award shows get ‘SHITTER’ by the day.. What the hell are we really doing? What we are doing in SA does not align with Entertainment ..

She also had something to say about the way people were dressed and the performances.
Dresses all look the same. Nothing fashion forward, no opening performance that blow your mind. PRs walking the carpet – and your talents?

We have to agree with Denise on this one. Why are we seeing PR people on the red carpet? Isn’t the client supposed be the one in the spotlight?
Anyway, the former VUZU presenter continued…
No 1 strives 4anything but a guestlist & an Insta post.U leave & come back & it’s still the same wheel turning the wrong direction

And then she dropped a bomb! There are no celebrities in Mzansi.
&no! We don’t have celebrities in SA! Just popular people who are only concerned on being more popular.Bore!! Chamomile tea, and sleep .. 🖖🏾

However, she did acknowledge the fact that there are talented people in our country.
