Emtee was part of the roster during the heyday of the now contentious record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment. At the time the roster included the likes of A-Reece, Fifi Cooper, Sjava and Amanda Black. At the time, Emtee was the biggest artist signed to the record label. But he would eventually leave the record label back in 2019 with a whole lot of drama ensuing thereafter. From the allegations that the record label took all the awards he won when he was still signed, royalty splits and to the alleged repossession of his cars.
However, since then Emtee has only continued to thrive in the music industry. From creating his own independent record label, Emtee Records, to the continued success he has had with his independent releases like his latest album Logan and the multiple certificates it has received to date.
But that does not mean that every now and then, Emtee and his former record label do not get into it on social media. However, this time, it was tweeps that were quick to call out the similarities between Emtee and a new signee for the record label.
Ambitiouz signs an Emtee lookalike?
Ambitiouz took to Twitter to promote one of its recent signees who goes by the stage name Brvdley. The image shared on quickly had many people calling for the record label to pay Emtee his alleged due royalties and other subtle drags at the record label.
However, this stance was brought on by the fact that the shared image of Brvdley has a striking resemblance to Emtee. So much so that he even took a dig at the record label by commenting on the image confirming the fact that he and Brvdley look alike.
Unlike any other average 17-year-old, now probably 20 years old, Goodwill Sandile Maseko known as Brvdley, was born in Lekazi, and raised in Kamhlushwa, Mpumalanga. He is a big dreamer, and aspires to be the world’s greatest, determined to fulfil his vision he pursued his musical passion. Music being his passion since the tender age of nine, Brvdley’s musical journey began in 2016 when he accompanied a friend to a talent show and he was put to the test to show off his talent.
In terms of when he joined Ambitiouz:
The young star was discovered by Ambitiouz Entertainment in May 2020 through a social media challenge where he rapped to Miss Pru’s ‘Price To Pay’ beat using his own lyrics. Brvdley began following the award-winning recording label when its doors were opened in 2015. Being signed under the label is Brvdley’s biggest achievement and a dream come true since the inception of his musical journey. He looks forward to working hard to change his life.
