The past couple of months have been a tumutltuos time for Afro World View news reader, Flo Letoaba who was fired from Primedia and left her job at eNCA only to be tied up in litigation in pursuit of a resolution to her differences with her former employers at Primedia.
Among Letoaba's many grievances was the lack of support she received from her fellow colleagues at Primedia - which owns 702, EWN and 94.7 among other entities.
This was when she took Primedia to the arbitration council amid allegations of racism and bullying against her manager which she said caused her to have a nervous breakdown.
According to IOL, she was involved in a year-long stand-off with EWN editor-in-chief Katy Katopodis. Letoaba alleges that Katopodis colluded with fellow employees to pull off a “constructive dismissal” against her.
Many of her former Primedia colleagues took indirect jabs at her on Twitter, alleging that she was the problem and that she would not be missed. One such former colleague is 94.7 Breakfast Show host, Anele Mdoda.
In a series of now-deleted tweets, Mdoda and Letoaba got into it late last year and insulted each other for all to see. Mdoda seemed to be coming to the defense of Katy Katopodis and Cindy Poluta whom Letoaba had accused of unfair treatment.
Anele did not mince her words with regards to how she feels about Letoaba and Letoaba made sure to give as good as she got.
It is for this reason that Letoaba revelled in the news that Mdoda will no longer be hosting Real Talk on 3 and went on to take a jab at Mdoda earlier today.
Mdoda has yet to respond to Flo and we doubt she will but we'll certainly be watching.
