Florence Masebe On Life Threatening Asthma Attack

She's breathing better and thankful to be here now

Award-winning TV actress Florence Masebe , has revealed some shocking details about her health scare and that she is grateful to be alive.


The 47-year-old revealed that she was admitted in hospital last year in February, fighting for her life after a life-threatening asthma attack.

In a series of tweets Florence said there was a time when she could not walk for five minutes without reaching for an inhaler.

“There was also a time when I lay in ICU for days because my lungs  had enough of the baggage my soul was carrying.“Recovery from that near-fatal asthma attack has been long and hard, I'm truly thankful to be here now,” she tweeted.



Florence previously shared that after being discharged from hospital, she spent the rest of the year in a constant battle to avoid infections. Hence she had to walk around wearing a mask to avoid making other people sick.

The actress said her health has now improved because she can breathe better and excerise twice a day." Now I can work out twice in one day and still feel great.Importantly, I’m breathing better and truly thankful to be here now,” she tweeted.
