
Depression has quite recently been put on the forefront as the number one condition that leads loads of people to pursue the suicide route.
South African supremely gifted rapper, Gigi Lamayne is also one of the well known personalities that has spoken out about her struggles of living with depression. The award winning rapper posted a tweet that sent chills down many peoples' spines - however it is still not clear whether the star was hinting at a prospect suicide or simply banter( which is unlikely). Gigi has since deleted the chilling tweet but not before her followers swiftly saved the screenshot.

South African hip hop authority and close collaborator, Rashid Kay has come out on Twitter to announced that, indeed Gigi has been admitted to a medical facility, however he declined to divulge the reasons for her hospital stay.

There are definetly no amount of words that can come close to comforting someone living with severe depression. Hopefully she will make a speedy recovery. The culture still needs her.
