Hlengiwe Mhlaba is accused of being a scammer, after failing to follow up on a car accident that she caused in November 2019.
Johannesburg based businessman, Moataz Mohammad is engulfed in an unholy war with gospel musician, Hlengiwe Mhlaba. This comes as the result of a car accident caused by Hlengiwe in Fourways last year.
The businessman is now having a hard time tracking down Hlengiwe, as she is allegedly not responding to Moataz's phone calls and text messages.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Moataz shared the following: "She promised to pay for the damages but I've been chasing her ever since."I took pictures of her drivers licence, ID and car. I thought she'd honour her promise. But I feel she has disrespected and scammed me."
However, Hlengiwe Mhlaba's take on the matter reveals another dimension into the story. The Sewakhile singer, explained that, she advised Moataz to get a quotation from one of her contacts.
The gospel star added that she finds Moataz's version of events quite inaccurate and confusing. Moataz claims his car only had scratches as the result of the accident, however he later changed his tune by stating that, it was only the bumper that got damaged.
"When he got there, he showed them scratches all over the car, yet he claimed I only damaged the bumper. He should explain his version of the accident."
Daily Sun also established that, Hlengiwe is keen on laying this dramatic incident to rest, and has already put plans in place, regarding honouring her role in the matter.
"He refused to open a case after the accident and he has been threatening me. I want this thing to end. I will make necessary steps in due time. I have consulted with my legal team. "
