All-round media personality Minnie Dlamini has announced that Mzansi's lifestyle-meets-sports show Homeground, is ending on Monday 12 September.

The show is hosted by Minnie and Lungile Radu and they had been hosting since it made its debut five years ago. Announcing the sad news via an Instagram post, Minnie wrote "This week’s look on #Homeground 😍
After 5 years our show is coming to an end. Don’t forget to tune in to our last episode next week Monday on @supersporttv & @mzansimagic," she wrote.

M-Net confirmed to Daily Sun, that the show is ending soon. "After successful seasons, on Mzansi Magic, Homeground will come to an end with its final episode airing Monday, 12 September 2022. Hosted by Minnie Dlamini and Lungile Radu, the lifestyle meets sports show took viewers through the most thrilling sports highlights and in-depth celebrity interviews from Mzansi's finest M-Net would like to thank every guest who has been part of the show, including the show's presenters and production crew behind the scenes," said M-Net

Minnie and Lungile had a great run. Minnie recently gushed over her co-host. Praising him, Minnie says she has learned a lot from Lungile about business, and he lets her flourish. "I’ve been working with this multi-talented powerhouse for about 4years. I always joke and say he’s my TV Husband. But in all honesty he’s my big brother who has taught me so much about this business, and has no issue to let me shine. The moment I told him I’m producing my first film he told me immediately that he’s in, no questions asked ( No love Lost o@showmaxonline shameless plug I know)," she wrote.

There was no special occasion behind Minnie's appreciation post, she said she just wanted to show love to him and said she enjoys working with him. "Working with you is such fun, it doesn’t feel like work. It’s not your birthday or any special day. I just wanted to show my love and appreciation for my bro @lungileradu The presenting duo that produces TV & film," she wrote.
