The casting direction on etv’s, Imbewu: The Seed seems to be on the fix, with lead actors such as, Mpumelelo Bhulose who was let go after reports that he was unruly and unprofessional.
According to IsiZulu newspaper, Isolezwe, it was reported that, Xolani Mfeka who portrayed the character of Nganono Bhengu has been fired after failing to deliver on his acting skills and his command for the Zulu language was not hitting the right notes. Xolani will be last seen on our television screens in January 2019.

When contacted by Isolezwe, Xolani confirmed the devastating reports, however, he is still confused hence the writers’of the show have written his character out but on the other side of the script, the powers that be(etv superiors), have not approved of his dismissal.
For the longest of time, many were never convinced of his acting skills. Check out the general comments about Xolani’s portrayal of Nganono.

I thought I’d seen bad acting until I watched the guy who plays Nganono in Imbewu. Ha ha ha! He’s THEE WORST actor ever. I wonder how he got in. Maybe it’s the anointing of God in his life. You know how God makes u succeed in things in a way that doesn’t make sense sometimes. Lol

Also Nganono is an actual no-no. Since the beginning…smiling when he’s angry with his brother, angry when he’s happy with Shria, smirking like a cheesy pirate for no reason…I just don’t get him. #Imbewu

With the powers that be having not approved Xolani’s dismissal, perhaps there is still a chance for his character to be roped back into the drama series.
