Isibaya's Siyabonga Twala Accused Of Being A Drama Queen

There have been numerous claims surrounding the exit of popular Isibaya actors. From Nomzamo Mbatha bidding farewell to the show that made her rise to fame since 2014, to Menzi Ngubane also exiting the soapie after four years of being a popular villian.

Siyabonga Twala is also part of the rumour mils which suggest that he is placed on temporary leave.

His alleged 'diva' tendencies were to blame for the actors' temporary withdrawal from the popular Mzansi Magic show.

Sunday World reported that numerous sources approached the publication with claims that Siyabonga who plays Mpiyakhe Zungu, that he wanted to be given special treatment. 

He has been with the show since the first episode, therefore they alleged that his longevity in the show prompted him to ask for special treatment. Not only that, he also constantly complains about changes in the script. 

Mzansi Magic's spokesman, Irvin Pooe spoke on the rumours, denying any claims of Siyabonga exiting the show. 

"Siyabonga has been shooting last week and this week. He did take some time off earlier this month for personal reasons. Siyabonga is a very skilled and competent actor. He’s back on set. We are not aware of Mr Thwala jumping ship," he clarified.
