On Wednesday, Advocate Zandile Mshololo, said she needs to read a docket apparently opened in 2019 by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA). The docket names Kelly Khumalo, Zandile Khumalo, Longwe Twala, Gladness Khumalo, Tumelo Madlala, Mthokozisi Thwala and Maggy Phiri as suspects in the case and also accuses them of defeating the ends of justice.

“I cannot make submissions until I talk to the author of this document.”

“The state must give us reasons for the decision that has been taken, whether it's been a misjoinder or maybe we are supposed to be having 10 accused here, the other accused should have been joined here or they should not be joined — we don't know...As a result, I am asking that this matter be adjourned and the remaining period of this session,” she said.

This new revelation caused Mshololo to ask the case to be postponed so she can read through it.

It was previously revealed in court that Maggy Phiri cleaned the crime scene after the goalie was shot.

The case has been postponed to June 13, Monday.

The case took a more interesting and darker turn after Advocate Malesela Teffo said in court; “I put it to you that … an eyewitness will testify that Senzo Robert Meyiwa was allegedly shot by Nonhlanhla Kelly Khumalo by mistake as it is alleged” he claimed.

"The same eyewitness will further testify that the firearm used to shoot Senzo Robert Meyiwa by Kelly Khumalo came with Longwe Twala, and that firearm was a revolver."

Many thought the whistleblower was Kelly's sister Zandie after she posted cryptic posts.

Zandie posted lyrics to Ikhwela “I have traveled a long journey I’m no longer going back I’m even hated by a lot of people. The time has come for me to blow a whistle, what do you say ??? There’s no day that will never come."

Zandie used the hype to promote her new music but also supported her sister Kelly when she said she will stick with her through thick and thin.

"Till the wheels fall off mntakama (my sister)." She then added another lyric from her song, which says, "Uma ungidinga nje wena dali wongishayela iKhwela" translating to, "if you need me love, blow a whistle."

"Let us forget about gossip people, my new song is out and it is hot! Even if I have to say so myself check it out on all digital platforms."
