It’s been a while since we’ve heard new material from Morafe, but it looks like that’s all about to change.
Chana Power blessed us with his presence at the ZAlebs headquarters recently and gave us a candid interview about his career, which you’ll see soon on our YouTube Channel.
During our discussion, the Respek hitmaker confirmed that a Morafe reunion would be taking place in the near future, with band members TowdeeMac and Kay-G raring to go.
The confirmation was made even more public when Towdeemac said at HHP’s benefit concert on Saturday, 7 May that the group would be reuniting. All three members were performing at the concert to an ecstatic crowd.
“The reunion? Yeah if you got it from Towdee then it’s definitely happening. He also caught me by surprise when he made the announcement because I know that he’s been working on his own album. He recently dropped that Yes Chick single featuring the boys from BenchMarq.
“So, yeah, of course if you got it from the man then yeah it’s legit. I can’t wait.”
Khuli Chana also mentioned that he’s working on doing a Motswako Republic remix with TowdeeMac, Kay-G, Tuks, and even Mo Molemi.
