Having entertained fans with her flamboyant character Nomatriquency for a couple of years, Lasizwe Dambuza's fans will be sad to learn that he will be killing her off.

The social media sensation used to leave his YouTube fans rolling on the floor with laughs and entertained with his YouTube skits where he played the female character of Nomatriquency, but according to Daily Sun, he said this character will no longer exist.
He said a mini-docu about Nomatriquency is in the pipeline and we look forward to atching it: “Nomatriquency is dying this year. I’ll be killing her. There’s a mini docu-series that’s coming. It’s about her. I can’t say a lot, but we are killing her this year”

Nomatriquency recently bagged an endorsement with Steers and it became a success. It is unclear why Lasizwe has suddenly decided to kill her off, but the YoTuber has been booked and busy lately as usual.

His YouTube account has amassed more than 70 000 subscribers and we love to see it. Since he joined the streaming platform, Lasizwe has been coining it. He was a guest on Sphectacula, and DJ Nave's YouTube show The King's Cast recently and he spoke about his career moves and life.

He revealed that his first pay chequeon YouTube was R80 000. "Over the years that I have been on YouTube ayi siyidlile imali (we ate money)...I have clocked over six figures. My first check on YouTube was R80 000," he said. His recent projects on YouTube are Drink or Tell The Truth which saw celebrity guest judges spilling the beans on things they would never talk about and his show with his brother which is a YouTube spin-off of his reality show Fake It Till You Make it with Lasizwe.

Fans are waiting for the second season of the show. In addition, he discussed how the industry turns people into robots, which often leads to their loss of self-awareness. "I really wanna fall pregnant this year. I think This year or next year or three years to come I wanna be pregnant, and also now I want to settle down a bit. Not just with someone or whatever but with myself. I am in a space where I just need to realize that I am human because in this industry we become robots. Everyone just wants a piece of you, when you come home you are empty."

In 2021, Lasizwe was selected as part of the candidates who joined the #YouTubeBlack Voices Class of 2021. According to a statement released by YouTube, “The Youtube Black Voices Class of 2021 received dedicated partner support from YouTube, seed funding invested into the development of their channels, and participated in training and networking programs focused on production, fan engagement, and wellbeing.”

Announcing this achievement, Lasizwe thanked his fans for their love and support on social media. "I would like to take this moment and appreciate every who supports my channel and constantly shows me love unconditionally! The love I receive from my fans is infinite. I love you guys so much! WE DID IT JOE!"
