Lerato Kganyago has denied that there’s beef between her and her Metro FM co-host Dineo Ranaka.
Drum Magazine recently reported that the two radio personalities don’t get along and that there’s tension. A source reportedly told the weekly publication that the colleagues “are having clashes because both are strong personalities”.
However, according to Lerato, there’s no such a thing. She told Anele Mdoda on Real Talk with Anele that when the story came out, both she and Dineo rolled their eyes.
“What I love about Dineo and I is that the week we started doing The Bridge, I said to her, ‘you know they’re gonna try to make us fight… because we are girls’. I said ‘it might happen now, or it will probably happen later’.”
She added: “We haven’t had a fight where it’s like ‘I’m gonna beat you up’. It’s just disagreements.’
Lerato had nothing but good things to say about Dineo, and described her as a sister. She also said they have amazing chemistry together.
“We have an understanding and I love the fact that we are the same age, so… immaturity plays a huge role when it comes to that. We are so content, both of us actually. We are at a point in our lives where we are so content and so happy, and we’re so comfortable with who we are, so it just works so well together.”
