Lerato Kganyago gets candid about her miscarriage and breakup

TV and radio personality Lerato Kganyago has had a lot to deal with over the past couple of months.

She went through a miscarriage, a break-up, and lost her best friend, Koyo Bala, who passed away after battling cancer.

Lala, as she is affectionately known, has graced the cover of the June issue of True Love magazine. In the mag, she opened up about some of what she has experienced.

On her miscarriage, which happened five months into her pregnancy, she said: "I was admitted, and after the doctor did a scan she told me I had miscarried. I sat on the hospital bed numb. I called my mom and my ex, who both cried."

She said she felt guilty and blamed herself for everything. "I'm still healing. I'm not ready to have another child," she told True Love.

Her relationship also didn't work out after the miscarriage. "With our break-up, I sometimes feel like God has a funny way of protecting us from certain people because a lot of things happened afterwards. It made me realise that he wasn't the right person for me."

She revealed that she's going for counselling to deal with a lot of things in her life, including Koyo's death.
