Mafikizolo is no strangers to the music scene. They’ve brought us hits as such Lotto and Khona. Their competition, Good luck gained popularity through their 2012 album Creatures of the Night.
“We have been so pleased with the response to the Sanlam Moola-Money Show. We’ve reached millions of people each week via the show and social media, and also had over 16 000 people play in our online financial quiz. This shows us that South Africans are very receptive to equipping themselves to live with confidence by learning how to manage their financial lives successfully.” Adds Sydney Mbhele, Group Executive: Brand at Sanlam.
The two groups have chosen a charity to help out should they win. If GoodLuck wins, they’ll use their winnings to assist technical crews affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. “We would be nothing without the crew and stagehands who have worked with us over the years at all the events we have performed at and so we feel it is our duty to assist them, where we can, in their time of need,” they said.
Nhlanhla and Theo are set to play for two charities: the Westrand Young Guitarist Foundation, and the Enkuthazweni Educare Centre, a centre dedicated to the care of underprivileged children.
The show will be broadcast this Saturday, 5 June 2021 on e.TV at 18h00.
More recently, Nhlanhla invited all SA black female business owners for a feature on my page. “Today is all about you. I’m giving all black South African female entrepreneurs to expose their businesses. So every Wednesday starting from next week when it’s woman crush Wednesday, I’ll be featuring three female black-owned businesses and they will be on my page for seven days." She continued. "If you feel like your business needs some exposure or you are not reaching enough people on your page and you are Instagram? Just tag me every single Wednesday and I will repost your business. Just make sure you’ve got all the information about your business so that people can know what your business is about and most importantly – make sure you’ve got your contact details there.” Check out the singer's full announcement below.
