The singer and his wife share beautiful pictures of each other on social media, giving their followers a glimpse into their marriage and lives.
In January their family was extended when their baby girl Oratilwe Alexis-Sky Kgosinkwe made her grand entry into the world. The couple announced her arrival with a cute picture of her holding a pink paper with the words "Hello World".
Although the two proud parents had been sharing some pictures of their bundle of joy, as part of Setswana custom they had to refrain from showing their baby’s face to the public until recently when they did in a series of adorable snaps.
When they found out that they were expecting, the couple couldn’t agree on a name. At first Theo wanted to name their baby Zendaya, after the American actress whome he loves. He later chose Oratilwe (which means she is loved) as an acknowledge to his Setswana roots. However, Vourne calls her Sky.
“I always said my child’s name would be Sky because at school there was this little girl in our class who was just perfect, and her name was Skyler. I added Alexis but I call her Sky,” she was quoted as saying during their interview with YOU Magazine.
“Everyone can call her Sky, but Daddy will call her Oratilwe. I want my daughter to know where she comes from and who she is. She’ll always have that background of a Tswana even if she has a sharp nose and curly hair," Theo said.
The musician and his wife tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony on Vourne's 26th birthday. Although they said they had to postpone all the celebrations until this year due to COVID-19 protocols, the couple just coulf not wait to finally become Mr and Mrs Kgosinkwe.
A few months after, they announced that they were expecting. The couple hosted a baby-reveal gender party and Theo asked fans to guess the gender of the baby.
In an Instagram post the musician wrote "1 Samuel 1:27 I (we) prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me (us) What I (we) asked of him 🙏🏾. We had a great day with few friends and family at the gender reveal -You can take a guess Is it a boy or girl 😂?"
With their baby girl Oratilwe Alexis-Sky having arrived and is already four months old, Vourné told YOU: "We’d always pray, and I’d tell God how this baby must look because Theo taught me I should be very specific when I pray."
Oratilwe Alexis-Sky has her mom’s nose and beautiful black curly hair. But Vourné believes that she has her dad’s head because hers is a bit bigger.
