Imagine getting into business with someone but they don't keep up their end of the deal,. That's the case with Mabala Noise and The Major league twins.

During an interview with Anele, Banele and Bandile opened up about how they have never received any money from their record label and that everything they own and everything they do, comes from their own pocket.

For those of you who don't know what having a record deal means, let me break it down for you.

Being signed basically means you as an artist are a partner with the record label. It means you work for the label and the label works for you. It means the labels own your music/compositions. No contract is the same, different artists have different contracts, depending on the negotiations. The money is usually given to the artist in advance and when the artist starts making music and selling out shows, they'll be able to pay back the money that was advanced to them.

In the case of Major League their deal with Mabala was only access and a financial injection into projects, which means no advances were promised to them, but instead Mabala would make a contribution to their projects, which the twins claim has never happened once.

Listen below and tell us what you think the deal is with Mabala Noise and their artists.
