The media personality turned media spokesperson for Sports, Arts and Culture minister Nathi Mthethwa said in her statement that her former lover stormed in at her Randburg home whilst she was praying. She was with her family and boyfriend when she heard a knock on the door, then proceeded to answer it. When she realised that it was her ex-lover she told him to leave as she was busy praying.
Respecting her wishes, he left, but much to her dismay he circled around the house and knocked again but this time in a harsh and violent manner at another entrance. He then proceeded to throw hands at her current bae who she writes as Mr. Mbatha in the statement.
Daily Sun quotes the statement as follows: “On Friday, 26 February at 11.50pm, the complainant was in the house with her family when her ex-boyfriend knocked at the door. She told him to leave because she was busy praying.
“He went away for a few minutes, and then came back. He walked around the house and looked through the sliding door. He then came straight to the door again, and he knocked harshly. She opened and her ex-boyfriend allegedly started beating up her partner. She tried to stop him and he pushed her away. This resulted in her front tooth falling off. She picked it up and put it back on."
The fight allegedly got so bad to the point where her current lover bled and has injuries on his face, "Her partner was bleeding and sustained some injuries on the face. She has a restraining order against the suspect.”
Masechaba has recently shared that she has undergone a long journey of being a sangoma. This is not a fairly new thing as Masechaba had hinted before in 2019 that she was on an Ancestral journey. The former radio presenter exchanged words with social media users who were against her sharing an intimate experience with social media users.
