Mihlali Responds To DM Silencing Her On #BLM Movement
Mihlali Ndamase was left infuriated by an explosive DM from an undisclosed Instagram user who warned her that she will lose gigs if she continues her being vocal about the Black Lives Matter Movement.

The beauty influencer responded with an even fiery response saying she will not be silenced about the injustice just for the sake of not ‘fumbling the bag.’

Mihlali was applauded for standing firm towards the cause and not shying away from the problem that is faced by black people just for the sake of gigs.

The anonymous follower told Mihlali to not participate in the conversation and outrage fellow black people are engaged in, saying it is not wise for her to be vocal at this time.

“I don’t think it’s wise for you to be so vocal during this time…Don’t jeopardize your future and what you mean to us as black people just because of what’s going on right now…please be careful,” part of the message read.

Mihlali replied with a very informative response and continues playing her part in voicing out her grievances as a black person.

“I will not be silent about the killing of my people. Where one door closes, many will open so if any brand does not want to be associated with me after this so be it at least I will lose a ‘bag’ knowing I wasn’t silent during this time because silence will not protect us,” she wrote.

She continued by saying she does not want to be associated with a brand that does not support black people in their quest to find justice.
Mihlali had previously bashed people who continuously say All Lives Matter at a time where black people are losing their lives.
The YouTuber has said the DM left her irritated and took her back to her schooling days where black kids were told to be quiet about any form of racism they witnessed.

“That DM irritated me so much because it reminds me of my schooling days: black children being called unruly and told to keep quiet about racism to avoid getting in trouble.

It was intimidating then, but now?! Now you can’t be thinking like that as an adult,” she tweeted.
