Mohale has become one of Mzansi’s celebrities who does the Lord’s work. The media personality with his team started an initiative called #ForTheYouthFoundation which focused on helping South African children to access education without facing the struggle of not having school shoes. From there on, Mohale grew and partnered with other brands to give out more.
In his recent project called #CleanShaveHappyTummies at Gordon Primary School in Alexandra, Mohale partnered with a barbershop to offer haircuts to the school kids, FutureLife to give the kids boxes of porridge and oatmeal to take home and McDonald’s gave out food to the kids on the day.
The star took to Instagram photos of himself and his team giving out packs to the disadvantaged students. He posted: “Today was day 2 of our #CleanShaveHappyTummies project. The project is centered around giving back to children in disadvantaged communities and schools.
Today we were at Gordon Primary School and gave the kids Haircuts, FutureLife breakfast packs, and Happy Meals from McDonald’s.
Thank you to all our partners, @futurelifeza @_classic.barbershop and thank you to @mcdonalds_za for helping us put a smile on our kids faces. 😄🙌🏽- ON TO THE NEXT! @fortheyouth_foundation”
@mohale_motaung May God our father grant u many more years for such a good deed. I recently started a "porridge initiative" at the school I'm teaching in Umbumbulu area in Durban KZN. Kids here go to bed on an empty stomach, last meal they have is at 10:30 from feeding scheme.
Mohale’s love for young people urged him to do more. The businessman is now working on a project called #KeepAChildWarm which is centred around getting clothes for children for winter. However, he does not only focus on working with young children; he also does a lot of work for the youth through this company Glam Troupe that offers matric dance packages to matric students.
On the other side, while many might know Mohale for being Somizi’s husband, Mohale has been building his brand through his work. He’s been juggling a lot of things in his career, from his charity work, being an entrepreneur and at some point, acting.
Last year he bagged a role on e.tv’s Rhythm City playing the character of Kudzo, who is a fly-by-night investor. That never stopped people from talking. Mohale got dragged on social media with many questioning his experience and acting qualification.
To think some of my friends are professional actors, who went to school and mastered the art of acting, who have for years been searching for jobs, only for mohale le somizi to hoist everything to themselves. Bophelo ke masepa South Africa.

However, none of that pulled Mohale down. The star recently shared on his Instagram that he’s now a director to his fifth company.
He posted: “From today, I am officially a director to my 5th company, and thanks to my lawyers @roux_legal for advising and ironing out everything for me. Tip of the day: Every entrepreneur needs a lawyer. 😉 #EntrepreneurshipChronicles”
