SETE by K.O featuring Young Stunna and Blxckie is the equivalent of what Zakes Bantwini and Kasango’s Osama did back in 2021 into 2022. This is as the Afro-Beat meets Hip-Hip single dominated when Amapiano was considered the “IT Sound” of the country and the world.

As we enter into 2023, the single has continued its dominance as we await new music to drop as most industries kick back into full throttle in the coming week. But while SETE is the song the is the number one, it seems that there are plans to have a remix of the hit single,
However, there is one artist that K.O and Young Stunna have made it clear will not be part of the remix if it is ever released, and that is Moonchild Sanelly.
Moonchild Sanelly rejected for SETE remix
It all started when Moonchild Sanelly took to Twitter to share how she first got to hear and fall in love with the single when she was on tour and being tagged on posts about the song. As such, she not only fell in love with the song but now wanted to be on the remix. Specifically, her reasoning was in order to have the actual lyrical content that has become her signature on the remix.
K.O, who was tagged on the post, was quick to respond. While he didn’t say no to Moonchild doing her own rendition of the song, K.O did seem to suggest that he will not be part of any of it.
Young Stunna was allegedly more forthcoming and blunt about his stance. This is as it seems that they photoshopped the musician’s response as a screenshot from Facebook expressing how Sanelly would have “ruined the song” due to her lyrical content.
However, it did not stop her fans having fun with what Sanelly would have brought to the remix if given the chance.
The continued interest in SETE comes off the back of the single officially being a Radio Monitor first. As reported before:
Unless you were listening to Ukhozi FM or Limpopo-based radio stations, then the Song of the Year which ushered in the New Year was K.O’s SETE, featuring Young Stunna and Blxckie. This was despite the surprise underdog Myztro’s Tobetsa (Remix) nearly taking the title from the hit single.

However, as K.O has also shown just how impactful SETE has been when he was the last act that his audience were with before New Years and the crowd danced to his hit single when ushering the New Year.
Moreover, the feat comes as SETE has further extended its record as the single to stay the longest as the number one song across all radio stations according to Radio Monitor.
Moreover, with no clear “new song” to take over the number one spot. Soon enough, it might be confirmed that SETE has further extended its lead with an additional week, which would make it 19 weeks as the number one song across all radio stations.
